As most of you know, I am a member of the Local American Legion. One of our fund raisers is that twice a year we have a craft show. One in the spring and one in Nov. for holiday crafts. I have worked and helped at all of them. But this year, they decided to put me in charge of the Fall Show. I found out today that I have rented all 50 indoor booths and one outdoor booth. Since the money we raise goes back into the community in some way, and this year is even more critical as our Legion Hall needs about $23,000 worth of repairs, this money is very important to us. This show alone will provide about $1500 for that use. The next step is to pull the show off without any hitchs. But the hardest part is done, getting the renters.
Wow, I really love doing craft shows, but don't get to often bc of work. I hope y'all have a good crowd.
Good luck Capt,I do hope all the success goes your way.I know its hard to get everything rented.I like to go and browse around and see what people have come up with.Really nice items to purchase.
Glad the worst is over with Capt. You will let us know how it goes this year won't you? I found your blog entry on last year's craft show, sans images: http://www.gardenstew.com/blog/e225-10- ... -show.html
