I went to my mother-in-laws house a couple of days ago, when I left she had my trunk so full of plants it almost didn't close. She surprised me. She was cleaning her garden out a little and wanted me to have some of the plants. She gave me canna (don't know the color), White blooming ginger, a hidden lily, a couple of Irises (color?) and a few other plants that I don't know the name of. I have spent the last 2 days planting, planting and planting. I am very happy.

Yippee! I love sharing plants, and having plants shared with me. There is nothing nicer than having gift plants and settling them in and waiting patiently for them to grow. I actually believe that us gardeners look after gifted plants more than those we spend cash on because those that are given to us are more sentimental. Enjoy.
