Yep, I certainly did. Don't ask me if I needed them, let's just say they were a requirement for my mental well being. :-?

We went to Whole Foods Market tonight for a few things and so I could check out the herb plants they always have in the spring. They also had a seed rack filled with seed packets from Seeds of Change, of all places. I am really impressed with the germination rate of their seeds, the cucumbers and squash I got from them were up in less than a week, I just am not pleased with their Customer Service.

So now when the rain stops I will be getting some German Chamomile, English Thyme and Bachelor Buttons potted up. I also got 6 small pots of Pennyroyal to put outside the entrance Rambo uses to come in from outside. It is a flea repellant and with good luck it will at least make him smell better when he comes in.

Plantoholic!! That is a good word for what I have. I was out buying yesterday, too. Just isn't easy resisting the temptation. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to.

I keep making more flower beds for the plants and seeds to call home and with each one Rambo has to wander around the yard a little longer trying to find a place to do his business.

But really I am not a plantaholic. I am simply replacing plants that I have shared with others.
I gave Lisa three rose bushes and about 2 dozen Cannas, another 3 dozen Cannas went to a friend of Randy's and I just sent about 7 to Courtney...I will be giving away two spreading Lantana next week and each of those has a spread of about 4 feet in diameter so not only do I need to replace two plants but also have that much area to fill in with other plants.
So the way I see it, I have to buy at least 8 dozen more plants to replace the ones I don't have any more.

Guess I had better get car gassed up and ready for to make the rounds of garden centers in the north Texas area.

I think I may be well on my way to becoming a plantaholic :D Were bout to go to WalMart for swimsuits, and you know Im going to be cruising the garden center!!

I just had an idea... My neighborhood has a community yard sale every spring. So I think Ill pot some seeds and when theyre nice and sturdy, Ill sell em then :D

I think I'd much rather be planting than scraping to pour concrete!
