    A daylily by any other name. For just a day they brighten a part of the garden and then fade so that another can take its place. From spring to fall the daylilies and their cultivars show their diversity of color, shading, shapes and sizes. A splendid specimen you have calvinjane, for a splendid day.

    I made my memory garden the spring after my mother passed away as therapy. It started with the chair from her deck and a bleeding heart from in front of her house. Many of the things I have added since remind me of someone - a gift from a friend, etc.

    I love ditch lilies too -- I have too many if anyone would like some! I'd like to see your memory garden too.

    Mary Ann I would love a ditch Lilly I Have some I call ditch Lilies they are fom a ditch very pale lilac so pale they are almost white.If you would like some of those if the heat didn't killthem and I can get back to Texas.I have a spot in honor of my mom.I would put a lily in her memory garden.from you .
