I found my spotted calla lily that has a pretty purple and white bloom coming up in a hodge podge of plants. I had believed it had died. This little corner of a bed I tried to organize this spring, but was unsuccessful. Thankfully.

I had tried to remove the phlox, but obviously missed quite a bit of it. Then there is the volunteer columbines that had grown right on top of the calla lily. This fall I will try again to clear and clean this area for the huge bulb of Liatris spicata (Gayfeather, Blazing Star) that I want center stage.

I have just the place in the woodland garden to put this little lost calla lily plant :-D.
