This is what it looks like around our house today: Daphne mezereum ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Single snowdrops ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Spring heather ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Helleborus atrorubens ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Crocus chrysanthus Swanenburg Bronze ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Crocus tommasinianus ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this weather type will last for at least a week or two.
My goodness you do have a lot of color happening around you. It all looks very springy. I found a couple of Hellebores at the garden center last week. I never realized it was available down here, I need to find out more about growing it and put one or two in my new shade garden.
My goodness, just lòòòk at those flowers--and all the sun! It'd be hadr not to believe in spring with such a scene! I appreciate the colour very much. You are way ahead of me there.
You definitely have spring with you. Lovely to see all those flowers. I especially like the heather. :-D
My garden looked just like that last week. Now everything is under snow again. However, I know spring has sprung and it won't be too long until I can see all my flowers again. Meanwhile I'll just enjoy looking at yours Droopy until then.
Thanks for liking my spring. I hope you'll find some hellebores for your garden, toni. They're delightful plants, at least here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no more snow now, but we often have snow in March and April. I just hope it won't be a lot of it.
