I don't do lawns

    This is after one spraying of RoundUp herbicide. As if I don't have enough to do besides this project. I'm going to propagate my Lirope here and make it all groundcover.

    St. Augustine grass is not my idea of a groundcover.

    i think i know how you feel......i'm on a mission to rid my entire front (small..3'x 20') of grass...and as much in the back as i can..just so i don't have to mow! lirope is a nice choice to fill it in

    I'm with you--I really really do not like St. Augustine grass. You can trip on the long runners; the large leaves look coarse; and with last year's drought, most of the St. Augustine gave up the ghost. Even though sweet Bermuda is a PITA, it is better than St. Augustine!
