I don't know what it is but I know what it does. And you are its victim.

The world of the very small is no less complicated than our world. If anything this unseen domain is hauntingly nefarious and unwittingly we are participants in its daily happenings.

Welcome to small things #3. An interesting world to view. All I know about these is what they do. They see us coming, they are waiting.

Gosh Jerry, at least your small things await you and their nefarious designs are not anticipated by a victim.
Here in Texas we have big things that lay in wait, like feral hogs, the bull in the pasture, vultures, and cacti. All of these tell you that you are prey, and they want to damage you! Makes a stroll outside really interesting.

How small is this Jerry? Looks like a miniature burdock.

The seeds are 2.5 mm wide and 8mm long

The scale is a 500 to 1 ratio scale so the stated values have the math done.

Hmmm...I googled 'tiny burdock-like seeds' and was shunted to info about the burdock plant, references to Velcro, etc.

They DO see us coming, they ARE indeed waiting & then they POUNCE for a free ride.

I beleave these seeds come from a plant that is about a foot to a foot and a half tall. But no, I don't think it is a thistle. The seeds come from individual flowers and one seed per flower. I will look to see if I have a picture with the subject plant in the background of other subject. I never took a picture directly. Looking.....
