This coming Friday, Mark and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I cannot believe that it is 10 years already - it sure has whizzed by, but then I guess we have been rather busy.

The traditional gifts for the 10th are tin or aluminium. The contemporary gift is diamond jewellery, which I like the sound of, and the flowers linked with the 10th are daffs, perfect for this time of year!

How many years have you been married this year??

I have been married for 6 years. For our 5th anniversary my honey made me a landing and steps out of the back door. Not very romantic but wood is for the 5th anniversary!

Come june 10, we will have been married for 12 years. This is my second time around, but sometimes there's nothing wrong with that. When you get a good mat you have to hang on to them and not let go. 12 great years-everyone has their ups and downs but thats what strengthens a marriage.
With that I wish you my CONGRATULATIONS and hope you have many more to come.

Congrats on #10, EJ. Time flies faster the older you get.
May 22nd will be the 29th for EvilRoy and I. There are no special stones, minerals, symbols or 'things' for number 29

Petunia, this is the second time around for me too. I got my first daughter from the first one so I wouldn't change a thing about that part of my life.

I had to think very hard, but this autumn we'll celebrate our twelfth anniversary. :D We've known each other for 32 years.

Dooley and DR have been married for longer than I have lived. That's a humbling thought.
