This coming Friday, Mark and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I cannot believe that it is 10 years already - it sure has whizzed by, but then I guess we have been rather busy. The traditional gifts for the 10th are tin or aluminium. The contemporary gift is diamond jewellery, which I like the sound of, and the flowers linked with the 10th are daffs, perfect for this time of year! How many years have you been married this year??
I will have been married two years on the 5th of May and how time is flying doesn't seem long since I was getting ready that morning and shaking at the thought of everyone waiting at the church! congratulations and I hope that you dont get a roll of tinfoil!! that would be my husbands idea of a joke
I've got a bit of a head start on you EJ. I've been married for 38 years this year. Blimey time really does fly!!
I have been married for 6 years. For our 5th anniversary my honey made me a landing and steps out of the back door. Not very romantic but wood is for the 5th anniversary!
March 16 will make 17 years for my hubby and I. And I totally agree with stratsmom, its amazing how young we get married.
March 14 my husband and I will celebrate 40 years of marriedlife. There have been ups and downs but I wouldn't change it. Wannabe
Come june 10, we will have been married for 12 years. This is my second time around, but sometimes there's nothing wrong with that. When you get a good mat you have to hang on to them and not let go. 12 great years-everyone has their ups and downs but thats what strengthens a marriage. With that I wish you my CONGRATULATIONS and hope you have many more to come.
Congrats on #10, EJ. Time flies faster the older you get. May 22nd will be the 29th for EvilRoy and I. There are no special stones, minerals, symbols or 'things' for number 29 Petunia, this is the second time around for me too. I got my first daughter from the first one so I wouldn't change a thing about that part of my life.
I had to think very hard, but this autumn we'll celebrate our twelfth anniversary. We've known each other for 32 years. Dooley and DR have been married for longer than I have lived. That's a humbling thought.
