I finally got to take some pictures outside today. It was just 41 degrees but the sun was out and there was not much wind...if you remember I usually have been taking pictures through the glass .

The first 2 pictures are sparrows, then 2 hairy woodpecker, 2 more sparrows and a yellow finch..

You've got nice birds, Sherry. How do you get them to pose like that? :D Love the woodpecker.

Super fine fotos, Sherry. I like to see the detail of their feathers like that.
We need to see more birds.
Thanks so much for posting these.

Great pictures Sherry. How close are you able to get to the birds? The birds here are so nervous and fly away as soon as I move!

Would it be possible to get an ID on each bird Sherry? I'm not much of a bird expert so I'm curious. Your photos are fabulous.

Sherry, you must have your birds trained or you have a lot of patience. Like others said the minute my birds hear something, off they go! Your pics are always pretty and unusual. Thanks and keep them coming. ;)

Very nice shots! I need to get some squirrel-proof feeders so I can start feeding mine again. My squirrels have destroyed every feeder I've tried.

    Thanks for the pics!

Netty...I was about 25 feet away yesterday outside. They have the pergola to play on and I do sit for hours at times taking pictures. Somedays I take over 300 and end up only keeping the best ones and usually under 200.

Thank you for all the nice comments...

I don't know how you do it, but those are great picts. Most birds would just fly away. You've got to have yours trained.
