I see you trapped the rare and elusive Cattus Ohious, feared feral feline from the jungles of darkest Ohio. The local populous can sleep a little easier knowing that the beasts are impounded. Now that you have them confined to that steel cage what will you do with them? They look too small to eat. Jerry
Jerry, I wasn't afeared at all knowing they were in the state. Thanks Capt for your diligence in keeping them down there.
Awww, they are so cute. Are they littermates? they remind me so much of our last two kitties(now sadly departed) who were a ginger and calico/tortoiseshell. If they get too much for Ohio there'd be a home in the UK
They are littermates. My son named them Bert and Ernie. But since Bert is the Calico, it's Bertina and we aren't sure yet what Ernis is. Ernie is a trouble maker though. He is always getting into predicaments.
Not sure who caught who. I think they caught your heart as the trap looks suspect to me. Speaking of trapping. Last week I caught a female cat and her 5 month old kitten in my live trap. I took them to the humane society as feral cats. I was not about to see if they could be handled as when I approached the cage they tried to run threw the sides to get away from me. I trapped the mom first and then the kitten. When I dropped off the kitten they asked if I would come back in about 20min. as they where going to put it to sleep right way. My heart sank but I knew it was better than having them out in the wild. I said sure and went to do some shopping. When I returned to get my trap the girl said that she had some news for me. They were able to handle the kitten without much fuss from it. So they were going to keep it and see if it would be able to be adopted. :-D :-D I was so happy to hear that. I was afraid to ask about mom kitty I had dropped off the day before. We have a neighbor across the valley from us that is feeding about 20 feral cats. YIKES! The bird population will not be to healthy around his place. Glad they are on the other side of the river across the valley.
