The past several days, I have heard what sounded like a squirrel chattering on the front deck. But when I would look out the front window, no squirrel. This morning I was out on the deck when I heard it again. I got to looking around and here is what I found.

He is about the size of a quarter.

Oh my gosh! He looks much larger than a quarter. And he sounds like a squirrel...how cute!

I took the pic in super macro so was able to get real close up. The camera was only about 2 inches from him.

It's amazing just how much noise a little thing like that can make. Great photograph CK. :-D

Later I heard him croaking and I looked out at him, his throat was all puffed out as big as the rest of his body. He must be getting a lot of bugs there as he is fat.

I had a little tree frog on a Rudbeckia bloom the other day. I wished I had a good camera with super macro as the photo's I took didn't come out very well.
    Great shot Capt.

Oh I love him! What a gorgeous little fella. I love our common frogs, but I would love a little blighter like that in the garden.

He's adorable, probably catches lots of good to eat buggies there.

It is a grey tree frog. We have 2 types here in Ohio. One is mainly in the northern part of the state and the other is in the central to southern part. This one is in the central part. The greenish color can vary and they can also be brown
