Congraulations to your neice and her husband Cheryl. Do let us know what the little one is going to be called won't you?
I remember when my daughter was born it was a real pleasure to shop for 'girly' stuff after having had two boys. Enjoy!! :stew1:

Congrats to the parents on their new arrival.

I have two grandsons and would love to have a granddaughter to buy the girlie stuff for. Neither of my daughters like girlie clothes so I haven't even had them to buy those things for

Congratulations! I never got to buy the pink, fuzzy stuff for my grand-daughters since my daughter's stricktly non-pink. :D Guess I'll have to wait for grand-nieces too.

    Thanks everyone!
The baby's name is Ava Marie (after both of her grandmas).

What a lovely name! I'm sure all the family is thrilled. You need to buy the biggest teddy bear you can find.
When our goddaughter was born, my husband bought a teddy bear that was 3' tall--it came home in the passenger seat of the car and got quite a few stares. It spent the first few months of Madeline's life cuddled up in her crib with her--it kept her from rolling about and she loved to grab its ears!
Ava Marie will be cherished (and undoubtedly a trifle spoiled!).
