He arrived this afternoon and has already made a start on a clematis and an Aquilegia His name is Ziima( yes,two 'i's) and he is 9 weeks old.
You're going to have your hands full with little Ziima but it's going to be so much fun having him around. You must post lots of photographs of him and tell us what he's been up to. He's a really bonnie wee boy and so cute. I have a feeling he's going to get lots of cuddles and TLC as he grows up.
Ronni, isn't he fab.We already love him to bits and we only met him for the first time on Saturday because his breeder lives almost 200 miles away. Eileen,I think he will be worth the effort. There will be many many cuddles as I have a long queue of people who want to come and meet him He has an excellent pedigree and almost certainly will be one handsome boy-not that he isn't already. There will be more photos once I work out his napping and sleeping routine as he needs constant watching to make sure he doesn't harm himself or our possessions. I'm hoping Nyla will play with him a lot and give Buddy some rest...Time will tell when they get home from the kennels in a little while. Frank, he is a Samoyed, just like my other two adults. His breeder has never seen a litter with such jet black pads and noses. He also has some black toenails which is very unusual in the breed too.
What an adorable puppy! He is gorgeous, and has that "mischief" in his eye that puppies must have, and has come to a wonderful home. I'm so happy for you and Ziima (and a bit jealous, also!). Can you tell us the background on his name?
I agree with everyone, he is so adorable! I would just love to scoop him up and run my fingers through that pure white soft fur.
awwwwwwwwwwwwww....such a handsome dog...I can remember when my lab would grab my hibiscus tree out of the ground and run around with it in her mouth when she was a pup...I can't believe mine survived with having it jerked out of the ground. It was about the size of my labs sticks except longer that she would chew on. It looks like you will have some wonderful company...
Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in replying, there don't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment to get everything done that needs/I want to be done..I do,however take lots of pictures and if I had the time to develop them and post them it would be a minor miracle. There will be more as soon as I can. There is more Ziima than we brought home as he seems to be growing before our eye! Jane, the original spelling is Zima, with just the one "i",but when his breeder tried to register him with The Kennel Club they said no,so she just added an extra one and it was OK. The word Zima means Winter in Russian. I like that extra letter and now use it all the time. The good news is that our girl,Nyla has taken to him very very well and they spend hours playing tuggy and chase which means that he gets to sleep a lot,and which is when I can get jobs done without having to wonder where he is...
