Surprised the heck out of me yesterday!!! The vine has been planted under the windmill for three years and until last January there was hardly any vine growth. I noticed buds several days ago but they were smallish, I figured it would be a week or more before they bloomed.

I was pulling baby Hackberry and Chinaberry trees out of the garden yesterday and found these beauties. I don't remember exactly what the name is but I think it is the H.F.Young because it's isn't either of the white ones or the Celtic Skyes double.

those are very pretty Toni. I'm hoping mine will still bloom this year I had to move mine out of the garden area due to the new greenhouse that went in. Thanks for sharing.

    :smt019 You show off!
Just kidding Toni, they really are fabulous and I'm very jealous. We are having snow squalls today.
I can't wait to see my Clematis blooming.

Your clematis is so far ahead of mine Toni. There isn't even a bud, let alone a flower, on mine yet. What a beauty yours is and a lovely colour too. :stew2:

Gorgeous Clematis, Toni...It may have taken it's time getting blooming, but just look at it now!
It'll be quite a while before we get such blooming beauties here.

Lovely, such a vivid colour. I have grown some from seed so it will be a year or 3 before I get any blooms.
