Literally, I have been in my closet five times in the last ten days  Fortunately I have not been hit, but am sad to report that the Tornado that just past through about an hour ago has taken at least two lives. We have been hammered with storms for the past two weeks. My brothers house was hit two years ago and had $175,000 in damages. He was lucky because most of the houses were a total lose. My next investment will be a Storm shelter.

Let's hope you've had your last trip to the closet and that the weather changes for the better. I'm sorry to hear that there has been loss of life though. Stay safe.

Stay safe and keeping :fingerscrossed: that you don't have to go to the closet again. I have been in two tornadoes, and they scare the cr@p out of me.

I can relate. They hit in our area in mid summer (July and August). We lost a huge pine about 2 1/2 feet across a few years ago...just twisted it in the ground 180 degrees and dropped it down. We were lucky that our home wasn't damaged then. I hope your luck holds out and keep safe.

Just saw the pictures of devastation on the news. Those were some wicked storms. Better get busy on your shelter.

I hope the storms leave you soon. I know how very scary they are. We had a tornado go right over our dormitory when I was in college in Missouri, that was many years ago. Stay safe.
