We had a lovely week-end in Manchester for the Christening of our youngest nearly-grand daughter, which means a little more space in my sewing room...The princess dress went down an absolute storm-so much so that Elena wore it to the christening and proudly showed it off to anyone who would listen Anyway, the space previously occupied by dresses and quilts etc now seems destined to be taken by some stuffed toys,a matching bag for Elena and some dungarees for Lydia-none of which I had planned into my schedule of things to do BEFORE Christmas...Hey Ho
Well you do realise it's entirely your own fault don't you? If you didn't make such wonderful things then no one would want them. Looks as though you're going to be busy right up until the 25th of December.
Dear, oh dear KM-- Well congrats on the Princess dress and the christening. As for the space available that you already know how to fill....welllllll..... I don't have to say it, do I. hahahaha
I bet she was stunning. It was a beautiful piece of art! I don't sew anymore...I only mend. These hands would make any piece of fabric ruined in no time at all.
Kiasmum, I hereby place my order for a full-length formal gown that I need by next Tuesday. Measurements will follow . . . . I wish I had your skill (artistry) with needle and thread. Since I don't I'll just enjoy seeing pictures of your creations (that is a very strong hint to keep posting photos!).
