I just made another blog entry about museums in Oslo and Norwegian nautical history, focusing on Amundsen, Nansen, a bit of Heyerdahl and some Viking history too. Nansen's ship "Fram" ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) The Tune ship ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) I was going to focus on the Norwegian painter Munch and the sculptor Vigeland but I got lost somewhere in the Antarctic so I'll have to get back to that some other day. From the Munch museum ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) The Vigeland Park ( photo / image / picture from Droopy's Garden ) Sleep tight all, see you tomorrow.
I agree and I'm off to read your blog entry now as I'm thoroughly enjoying your postings and blogs Droopy.
A lot of history represented by the Tune ship. It makes for an interesting excursion into the Norse past. Jerry
