Well, I beat all my old "tired"s. The last two weeks of school can be very exhausting (even though I start preparing in September). But I set a record this year. My hubby brought home a flowering basket and hung it by the back door where I come in and leave every day. I even drive right up and park beside this door!

It wasn't until the next morning that I noticed this huge basket while watering other pots beside the door. Practically bumped my head on the thing! Zombie land... :D It was really a wonderful surprise, and I couldn't believe that he hadn't said a word until I noticed it.

That hanging basket is simply gorgeous--such a nice selection of colour.

...I'm not going to say a word about not seeing it. ;)

Pretty embarassing :D Life is made of little memorable events like this one. Guess its true I seem to spend most of my time watching my feet or looking for weeds and forget to look up!

Sorry, but I think it's hilarious that you didn't see it at first. Especially 'cuz I know what those last two weeks can be like! I could do the same thing without a doubt.

It's a beautiful basket. That was nice of your hubby to surprise you. I'll bet you laughed and felt so happy when you saw it!

BTW, your doorway is pretty overall.

I'm absent-minded sometimes but I'm not so sure I could have walked right past that beautiful basket. What a nice hubby! You'd better keep him around for a long while. dooley

Lovely basket, you lucky thing you! :D

I had to snicker at your absentmindedness, but more out of recognition than spite. I can do the same thing myself. Luckily I'm also blessed with a patient husband.

I can identify with that kind of "tired"! Congrats on 30 years! You have a beautiful back entrance.
My daughter is preparing to teach school. She will graduate from university in December.
