I guess I can send off things and surprise people. I have discovered that I like surprises too. Last fall, I sent Marlene a bear. Today, I received a package from Marlene. I wasn't expecting one. She said it was a late house warming gift for our move to Texas.

Isn't it beautiful? I have to find a special place to hang it. If I put it on the front porch, the morning glories will soon hide it from view. This calls for some thinking about things. I may hang it inside where the air conditioning will sway it or a ceiling fan. Thank you, Marlene!

Now that's the kind of surprise house warming gift that I'd be happy with. You must show us where you decide to put it Dooley. What a lovely thing for Marlene to do and she's great taste as well. :-D

How nice...I love windchimes of all shapes and sounds. Does your porch face the south? You should get nice breezes that will make your windchime work overtime! :D
