Brilliant shots Jen. I love thunder and lightning too but have never maanaged to get great shots like yours.
Those are very cool shots you took, Bip (plus wow, great camera in your phone too). It's interesting to be able to examine the pics and look closely at the path the lightning takes. Pretty impressive, yes! I like your avatar too. I noticed Frank's new(ish)one as well.
It took a couple tries to get good pics, but I figured it out pretty quick. There would be a flash of light before the actual lightning, and my camera takes a few seconds to actually take the pic. So I would hit the Take button right at the flash, so by the time the lightning showed up, it would get captured My avatar is really cute, if I do say so myself BJ loves snuggling with me when Im napping, and I took the shot myself *lol*
