In the house or in the garden, I love shelves. One of the things I look for at thrift stores and junque shops are interesting/unique brackets to hold shelves of all sizes. So when purpleinopp suggested that those Sedum I posted a question about the other day might need more sun the need for a new shelf arose. I also save boards to use as shelves, this one came out of the pantry when we redid it a couple of months ago. Put it on the fence panel at the back of the Herb bed to provide needed shade for some Cast Iron plants I put there last month that were getting too much sun this month. new shelf for Sedum and shade ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) An old copper tea kettle hangs on one of the brackets and this I bought last year and finally found where to put it in the garden is hanging from the other bracket.
