:D I made it here Saturday evening, but was only able to get to the internet cafe today :) ive already seen wild ponies (and touched one!), climbed 198 steps to the top of a lighthouse, ran alongside said ponies taking pictures while they were herded along the beach by the ocean, met a lovely family who took me to see said ponies and also took me to the auction place to stake our seat claims for Thursday (you gotta get your seat ahead of time, otherwise youll end up standing the whole time!). I also hiked on Assateague Island, got a tan and slight sunburn and got bitten by bugs even tho I was wearing insect repellent o_O Im having a great time! Ill post pictures when I get hom ^_^ Ive got two full cameras already, and the week isnt over! WOO!

Needless to say pony photos would be a real lifter Bip. Would like to get a look at the lighthouse also. Glad you are having a good time.

Sounds like not much has changed since I've been there, spent so much time there know my way around blind folded, no place on earth like it for mosquitoes....never was in favor of pony auction, because if your close enough after they are driven back, and you hear the howls of mothers missing their babies or visa versa, then you'd know...it breaks up families and breaks hearts. It was good fishing, crabbing & clamming however.
