I am having problems with my computer so I may not be in here much for the next couple of days. It crashed today for the 3rd time in 6 months. I think it may be on it's last legs. I think I am going to put my old computer back up. The one I am using now was my sons and I started using it when he got a new one. My old one is a good computer, just not as big a hard drive as this one. See you when I can get in here!

Hope your computer woes are sorted soon Capt. I was on dialup all Xmas and it was almost the same as being computer-less. I shudder when I think back at it :-x

After ours went doolaleey over Christmas, I sympathise. Mark always goes in with a screwdriver and we end up with the floor covered in bits of this and cards and wires and screws (which make a great noise when they go up the hoover!!). Good luck Capt.

I found out that the hard drive was dying on that computer. So I pulled the plug and let it expire! I am now using my original computer and it seems to be working fine so far. :sete_083:

Sometimes older machines are far more reliable that updated 'new' ones. :-D

My computer is about 7 years old - a little shaky at times but don't want to spend the money on a new one jsut yet. I have dial up and am used to waiting. Wireless is just starting to become available in our area.
