My computer memory has taken up too much space. I don't even have enough % space to run defragment. I am unable to get picts off my camera to my computer file. Though I'm able to post and make comments I miss not posting my flower picts. I wish you all could see how high my toms have gotten in the greenhouse. They've grown to the top. We have many toms but nothing turning red yet. We have went through and cut tops off so the energy would work toward making the toms red.
In the meantime I am saving (on my camera) all picts I do take. We have linked mine and hubby's comp. together so that he can take over my picts and put them on a disk. This all takes time. We both have to sit down and compare the picts so that I don't loose any before he saves them on a disk. Once saved I can then delete them off my computer, therefore freeing up space on mine again. Hopefully this will clean up my comp so that I can download picts again. Anyway I am hoping to get this done soon. So this is my story and I'm sticking to it. :) :stew1:

Ha ha ha... and a good storey it is too! ;)
I know how frustrating that is. Well, I am patient, so just get that job done and show us some pics when you have the time. I know they will be good ones,.
I have been wondering how things were going in the greenhouse.

I store mine on a USB flash drive that I can access anytime so as not to "bog down" my unit

    you could try that :-D

Good luck with the autumn cleaning, Petunia. I miss your photos. Make certain you won't loose any of your lovely plant shots during the process, won't you?

Petunia if you have a bit of leftover cash I would invest in an external USB harddrive. They are not too expensive, especially something around the 100GB size. You would just have to plug it into a USB post on your computer and it would appear as just another drive on your computer e.g. if you have a C: drive now you may see an E: drive appearing. It would take a while to fill that!

Well, its strange how one can learn to do something one way for so long that you don't think of learning a 'new way' of doing that same task. Let me explain. I only have a 4.0 olympus camera so that is where I would store my picts into the olympus program. Just yesterday I've learned to save them right from my camera & putting them (save them) right into my usb memory stick without having to put them on the comp. This was probably elementary for most of you who know alot about computers but sometimes I'm a slow learner. And other times I learn better if I'm talked through something. So now I should be able to show my picts once again (though I still have to save everything else onto a disk for clean up space) picts of the greenhouse and my flowers should be coming today and tomorrow. Thanks everyone.
