I went for a swim in the sea today. The air temps are high, but that's not the case with the sea. :D Two-three more weeks of this hot weather and it will feel comfortable. Today I think the temp was around 17C/63F and it felt really cold!

Wow, that does sound cold but wonderfully refreshing at the same time. Congrats for getting out there.

Thank you, I did feel brave. :D My feet didn't get numb since I wasn't in for very long. The Polar Club takes a swim every day the whole year through, and I'm not going to join them. Mad people.

brrr, but my daughter would have joined you. She doesn't feel the cold in the sea and is happiest in the briney. She swims when people are strolling along the beaches in sweaters, hats and coats! Still....bbrrrrrrrrr

EJ, she'd have loved it. Both my girls were out there playing, and they keep at it for hours too. Well, I did when I was little, so I guess that's just the way it is with children and the sea in summer.

Wow, congratulations! That is impressive. Being a Southern California whimp I won't go in my pool until it's over 80F, and I prefer it closer to 90F.
