Woke up to no heat, a sick cat and a leaking dish washer. Waiting for repair service for heat now. I want to go to the greenhouse to get warm but can't until repairman gets here. So I'm baking and making beef stew to stay warm. Hopefully hubby can repair dish washer this weekend. Ok back to the kitchen, I'm cold.

Well they do say that bad things come in threes. It's a pity though that yours had to ome on the same day. Hopefully your heating will soon be operational again and the cat is feeling better. Fingers crossed that you hubby can fix that leak in the washing machine and you don't need expensive spare parts.

Perhaps if you go over to the calendar and cross today off maybe it will reset itself. Two Thursdays in a week is allowable, they did that a few hundred years ago. I have instructions how to wash dishes by hand if the hubby does not get the dishwasher repaired in time and you run out of dishes. :) I hope the cat feels better. I will have them send warm weather your way as soon as I find the weather persons phone number.

Going back to bed where it's warm is allowable too. Maybe when you get up again summer will be there. That might be how long it takes a repairman to get there. Have a good rest of the day.

Donna, the most comforting words in the Bible are "and it came to pass". Nowhere does it say "and it came to stay" which is cheering when you have a day like you are having.
At least your stove still works, and the cat is eating. Those are two good things. When the repairman comes you can hit him with a hot pan and sic the cat on him!
