Back in 2010 I started taking a Landscaping class through Penn Foster, an online school. I got all the way through my courses, doing well, but when it came time for the final exam, I kept putting it off and putting it off and...you get the idea. Anyway, a few months ago, I contacted my instructor and asked if I could still finish. He gave me an extension and today was the deadline. It took me long enough to complete the final because it was rather overwhelming. 5 sections to it, including a soil test (had to go through an actual lab!), mock client contracts and landscape design and maintenance. Oy. So I finally got it done and mailed off a week ago. Actually, I mailed it off once and it was returned ungraded because somehow Id missed the 5th section, so the instructor emailed me the PDF so I could print it out and fill it in (that was the part that took me the longest!)
Got a large envelope in the mail today, opened it, and in the Grade box on the cover form was a 100%! YAY! So now I just have to wait a few weeks to receive my diploma (or certificate or whatever the heck I get lol) :D

See, being a member of the Stew really pays off! I bet you would have had only 99% if you weren't a Stewie.

Woohoo!!! Congrats Jen. Having that course complete will most definitely give you a good chance at the new job. Put a copy of the certificate with the job application too.
