PETA needs to get a life. If the fact that someone killed a nasty fly bothers them, then they have a problem!

I have to agree Kuntrygal... though did you see the contraption for catching bugs that they sent him? It was very cool and would be good for catching and releasing the "good" bugs that we find inside our houses sometimes. But flies... they carry so many germs... ewww. Hope he washed his hands after he whacked it!

I wonder how PETA feels about all the dead bugs I clean from the grill of my car???

I wonder further, if fly swatters and mouse traps need PETA approval.

I think it is so funny...he did kill it and PETA has an issue with it so they are sending him a humane fly trap so he can catch flies and put them outside...I find it funny since the average house fly lives about 5 days!

Haha, gardenmama, that's a good point. :D PETA will probably say that's an even better reason to release them outside, so they can enjoy their short life to the fullest.

I've evicted three bumble bees today. One from my car and two from the living room. I very gently catch them in a cup or glass, slide a cardboard sheet underneath the cup or glass and carry them outside. I feel I deserve a medal.

Good for you Droopy! I save bugs and put them out too. Except for flies and mosquitos... Uh oh, don't call PETA on me please.
