Thank you for putting that up Govig. It's really interesting. It must be amazing to see in person -- is it near where you live?

    WOW~amazing/stunning/unbelievable~!

How I wish my Wisteria would bloom like that! Heck, I would even settle for one bloom. Stupid plant just grows leaves and gets bigger and bigger overtaking everything in its path.

*sniff* I wanna Wisteria like the one you posted, Govig.

unfortunately not Daisybeans - if there were no police around (8))it would still be a 3+ hour drive from me. I just noticed the story when flicking through the newspaper.

Well I hope it doesn't take 100 years for my wisteria to produce lots of flowers 'cause I won't be around to see it. :(
What beautiful pictures and I'm so glad you thought of us all and decided to post them for us. :stew2: For the first time in around five years I actually have one or two buds on one of my wisterias. Maybe next year the other will decide to flower too. :-D

That is absolutely gorgeous! We can't grow that type here as it gets too cold. I have settled with one, "Aunt Dee" which is supposed to grow here but mine has never had a bloom. Thanks for sharing that Govig.

I sometimes get "mad" at my wisteria  when they go under the shutters or grab hold of a nearby tree but I think I will be nicer to them from now on -- they do bloom beautifully faithfully every year...

I love it! And I love the fact that the villagers gathered to watch them pruning it. Talk about taking an interest in your local flora. :D

I saw on the mid-day news today that there is a mysterious bug attacking wisterias. I hope it does not reach this one
