I thought it was spring! The tulips just started blooming and the daffodils were pretty but now the heads of the flowers are laying on the ground..when I took the pictures they were still standing but it is getting colder ....and I am not sure if they will freeze, but with a low of 29 I think they will...Here are some pictures before and during the beginning of the snow...nothing to look at now with the heads of the flowers drooping so bad so I didn't even want a picture of that....

Yikes! Maybe the snow will insulate them against the cold and they'll bounce back.
    They're very pretty Sherry!

Mine survived a hail storm last week so hopefully yours will be OK in the snow Sherry. Fingers crossed you don't get any more and that the weather heats up for you.

    cold

We got down to 37ºF last night. I knew it would be okay for my stuff outside and I hope the cold knocked any bugs off that were waiting to kill my ornamentals! We'll be back to 90ºF in 2 days, according to the weatherman.

Good luck to them. I think they'll be fine, they're tough, little plants. Ours were flat out for some days but got up and continued blooming once the warmer weather kicked in. :D

Sherry I hope your flowers will be OK. Just when you think old man winter is gone, he rears his ugly head again. Hopefully this will be your last go around of bad weather!!

Sometimes my daffodils get snowed on and they seem to survive it just fine. Next day they were looking good. dooley
