I love to cook, I love to share food, and I want Thanksgiving to be a recognized holiday! This cartoon sums up my feelings:

Yes, I don't start Christmas until after Thanksgiving!

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here worst luck.:( I'm not ready to celebrate Christmas - it's coming around too quickly for my liking.

One of my brothers would jokingly advocate for 'The Holiday Integrity Act'; it's primary tenet being you couldn't advertise one holidays until the preceding holiday has passed!

    BTW I love Thanksgiving too.

I agree! We celebrate Thanksgiving a lot earlier than you do in the US and we had stores with Christmas display's out before Thanksgiving (October 9th)!
That is just ridiculous! They used to wait until after Halloween!

Some stores have Christmas trees decorated inside already....I agree that they should slow down but the stores are out to make money and Thanksgiving doesn't come close to Christmas spending....My favorite is Halloween and it is so disappointing to have fewer and fewer children at the door...I wish the people would quit putting needles inside candy and poisoning it.....I remember having over 100 children when we were first married...I miss the days of nice neighbors and being able to trust people. Neighbors used to help other neighbors.... We are living in a smaller town now and we like it so much better. People stop and talk with you if you are outdoors..
