This is the time I like my garden the most. Not really much work to do (guess I could pull weeds). The water hose hasn't been out since... well, I don't remember when, maybe August? I do have to water the containers at least every other day if it doesn't rain, but there's plenty of water in the barrels for that.
So I was lazy yesterday, just sat and enjoyed the day. I didn't even mow the grass!
Some of the Fall bloomers are finally doing their thing, so I took some photos.

This one comes in the house over the winter. I think it'll just stay inside forever once I get it in... getting too be a real chore to move it!

Beautiful flowers! Your gardens looks so lush and full and so full of color. I loved my Esperanza's and salvia I grew when we lived in west-central Texas. I have a soft spot for Roster Comb as it was my Grandmothers favorite flower. Most of the rest of the flowers I've never seen. I appreciate you naming them so I can look them up.

    Thanks everyone.
And since this is the low-maintenance season for me, I think there'll be more lazy days in my foreseeable future. :D
I did notice that I'm lacking orange in my garden. I must add more of that color next year. And some more yellow.
