Ice jam in Oil City PA.

I hope Mother nature is kind to us. Oil City is about 80 mi upstream from us.

Told Dh every Bridge in cold area should have wrecking balls attached to them. Causes lot of spring flooding.

 

It damaged two boats about a mile from me that someone left in the river but I don't know how bad. Our house is about 400 ft above the river so we are safe.

 

Very much like polar ice there,..it sure can crush everything as it expands.

That's a big rise in water level,..i hope houses are not flooded as the river banks must be breached.

 

Wow, this looks like our rivers here, too. Especially the Rocky River up by Cleveland. A huge mess.

 

Wow I don't envy anyone in the path of all the ice and water this spring.

 

That's a scary looking bridge with all that ice. But it's beautiful at the same time

I hope you get a thaw soon jbest. BTW I love the look of your avatar's face. He looks like he is looking at all that ice with such disgust.
