ID my old cactus

    Anyone happen to know the name of my oldest plant and how to care for it(watering,feeding it)

    I'm sure someone can give you more info... but it's one of those grafted cactus I see in the stores all the time.
    I'd assume you tend to it like any other cactus. Lots of sun light and water when dry.

    Ed, that container looks a little large for the cactus, which also looks like it is sitting a little deep in the container. You might want to re-pot it in something smaller, using a potting mix especially for cacti, and let it set up to enjoy the view!
    Cheryl's right about it being grafted. The only thing I know about it is that the red part is called Corona del Rey (King's Crown). It supposedly looks like the crown of one of the three Wise Men. This is not botanical knowledge--I was told this by a neighbor.

    Thanks again to everyone who responded about my cactus,now I have work after lunch about repotting not only the cactus but I plan to repot one of my big tomato plants into that vacant pot
