I received this as a tiny cutting from an old boss, but she had no idea what it was. It is now flourishing and getting new leaves all the time. I would like some help identifying it so that I can take care of its needs. ( photo / image / picture from Zinnia's Garden )
It's a little hard to see detail, but I'll take a stab at it and say maybe it's a Syngonium Podophyllum? Common name, arrowhead plant :-D
Zinnia I hope you don't mind but I 'fiddled' with your photograph to lighten it so our members get a better idea of its colours.
I have had this plant before. Most around here call it Devils Ivy because the top of the leaves look like horns. I just treated mine the same as any ivy. Let it dry a bit between waterings. They don`t like too much water. Mine got frostbite.
With that redishness it almost mekes me think of a Caladium type. But I must admit that it does look a little more like Syngonium Podophyllum, as Bluewing suggested. What is the habitus of this plant? Is it a climbing/trailing or more of a 'bushy' type?
My little plant didn't make it, now i am starting over hoping it will come back:-( I think i overfed it or didn't water it enough.
