Hey. I like in Massachusetts, and i know we have some spicebush around here. A medicinal herb tour guide pointed it out and i took a picture. Unfortunately the picture isn't good enough quality to use it to identify others. I can't seem to find a good site that tells one how to ID it. Is there anything about the bark or leaves that give it away?

    Thanks.

It has red berries, green leaves that turn gold in fall and yellow or white flowers. Which sounds like many other shrubs. Do a google for Lindera benzoin and find some photos that will help.
You could also call some garden centers close to you and ask if they carry it or can order it for you.

Good luck and please share a photo of it when you find one and get it planted
