Lance Mackey and Jeff King are still too close to call, and there's about 350 miles to go to Nome. This photo was posted on their site (taken by Jeff Schultz) of some amazing Northern Lights over the Yukon River run of the race. Must be beautiful out there.

Lovely light show. We get those here, too, and sometimes it's so beautiful I have to force myself back inside.

I have a photograph that my eldest son took on the Isle of Skye of the northern lights. :-D They are so beautiful and utterly amazing aren't they?
