Actually the Mama boar gave birth on Saturday to 7 piglets. It was KB's day off, but we had gone to the Viking Market, but well, duty calls. And ohhhh so cute.

The newest additions to the Museums every growing family.

Heres Mama with her 7 new piglets. 2 days old now.

Tomorrow the older boars born in spring and Daddy boar are going back to the other boar pen. Safer for Mom and new borns. Look how big they have gotten, the spring boars. Heres 2 of them.

Oh what cuties. I guess animals, like plants, grow quickly in the arctic with 24 hour sunlight.

Thanks all,, I don't know when the bbq is. I do know they will be going this yr most likely.

We have boar when we go to Sweden, we buy it and bring it back. Raising wild boar is illegal in Norway. These are half boar and half pig.

When i was in America my Lakota friend made me puppy stew. I won't go there on what happened to the dinner. I still shudder. Became instant vegetarian when i would get invited for dinner.
