Went to Home Depot this morning and they had their vegetable starts on sale. So I got 3 tomato plants. They were buy 2 and get one free. I got an heirloom beefsteak, an Early Girl and a medium sized tomato that I can't remember the name of. I had never heard of that type before. Last year I had early girl and better boy and they both did well. Now I just have to wait until it warms and dries up. Friday it got down to 30F and I had frost on the roof of the house. The Farmers Almanac says snow the first week of May. But the Almanac hasn't been right yet this year! May 15th is the frost free date here. Last year I planted my maters on May 1st.
