Evening all, I'm back from our family weekend in north Devon saying farewell to my lovely old grandad. Yes, I was an emotional wreck, I always am at funerals, I have been known to cry when a strangers funeral cortège passes by, but being my grandads I was positively bereft. However, I am home and I am happy, primroses in the garden are in flower, the daffs have buds on them and my tomato seedlings are going from strength to strength. Thank you for all of you kind words, no more tears now.

So glad you're back with us and that your garden has lifted your spirits a bit. It's never easy saying goobye to a loved one but you have so many memories to look back on and I'm sure, in time, you'll be able to smile when you think of your Grandad.

It's very hard to go through something like losing a loved one. I'm happy that you made it through the days and are able to be back in your garden. Being able to involve yourself in something you love doing will help you cope with the sorrow. Remember that you have friends who are able to help you when you are feeling sorrow and need a helping hug or two. dooley

Glad to see you back home and happy.
Happiness is the result from a healthy and good farewell.
It seems like your flowers and toms are oké as well.
