We are now in Luxembourg volunteering in a organic or what the European called Bios farm. It is great to be connected again! We are in a village called Beckerich and will be going to Belgium from July 8th.
KK, so happy to hear from you! Please, in addition to photos, post the techniques/methods that the bios farm uses. You are on vacation, and having great experiences, but we are all riding on your coattails and learning and enjoying from what you tell us. How does it feel to have hundreds of people tagging along on your adventures?
I was beginning to get worried about you both as we hadn't heard from you for a while. So glad you're still enjoying your travels. I'll look forward to hearing about the bios farm and seeing your photographs.
Thanks Toni, we are indeed having a great time in Luxembourg. Thank you Marlingardener, having lots of people is just GREAT! I will try to observe and learn as much as I can and post what I learned when I can. Thanks Eileen, it is fun and is going to a BBQ after this!
The weather is just perfect today for a BBQ. The conversation was difficult because they spoke little or no English. It was a great experience and the food was good. Thanks Kate, Donna.
Glad you are having such a great time and enjoying it all. Can't wait to see photos. Keep us updated on your travels.
Happy to hear you are having a great time....maybe notes will have to be taken or written down later so you can let us know and teach us a few things....stay safe and enjoy yourselves
Thanks Sherry8, so far most of the practices are about the same as those members here who are practicing organic farming/gardening. Compost and companion planting is the main thing. Strawberries and garlic is a good choice.
