Yesterday, I made chunky apple coffeecake. This morning I got up and made 8 loaves of cranberry bread, 2 loaves of lemon/poppyseed bread and 4 stollen. I still have to frost and decorate the stollen. The neighbors sent over cookies. I wonder if they knew that I baked a couple tons of them myself. They didn't send the same ones that I baked so we do have some variety. With the breads, cookies and coffeecake I think we are all set. Of course some of the cranberry bread and the stollen will be delivered elsewhere tomorrow. I do have to make a pie for Christmas dinner. I have a choice, lemon, pumpkin or mince. I guess I'll figure that out tomorrow. I wonder if that's considered baking. It's not cookies or bread or cake or anything like that but I guess I can't say I'm done until the pie is out of the oven.

Dooley you are a marvel. :D All that baking sounds delicious. Pity I can't be there to 'test' it for you. Have a wonderful Christmas but do try to relax and take some time out just for yourself.

Dooley, you should be awarded a chef's apron! I can attest to the deliciousness of the stollen, and I bet the other goodies are just as tasty.
Yes, pie does qualify as baking. If the oven is on, and there isn't meat or vegetables in it, it's called baking!

Wowie Zowie!!! :p Isn't it a good feeling to be all done? My niece Madisen and I got almost everything done yesterday. She had a ball :p She asked if she can come next Christmas and help me bake ;) She is almost 13 and really good help. She liked using the little bitty scooper to make all those darn cookies! I was able to sit down and rest my feet, worked out great! She made her first ever pecan pie, chocolate pie and a few dozen cookies :-D My feet still hurt and the kitchen is a mess :D
