Hi John, welcome to the Stew from north Texas.
From what I have read Hybrid Tea roses are extremely high maintainence so you would want to avoid them.
I am going to order some Heirloom roses from one of the websites I gave you yesterday, have heard heirlooms are relatively easy to handle.

Hi john welcome to the stew. If you are looking for low care roses I would look to the landscape roses and the english roses that are more freeform growing and need less pruning to do well. ER

Hi! I don't know much about roses but Cottage Farms Direct has theirs on sale. They have a wonderful no questions asked one year warranty on their plants. I've used it ALOT. They ship wonderful plants...it's my fault...but they don't care. Good Luck.
