Help me out here. I read something in a magazine and it got me thinking. If a mirror looks directly into another mirror what does it see?

I don't know, I have no clue. Think of it like this... if you placed two mirrors facing one another and one of them was like a secret mirror that allow you to see through the back of it (like the mirrors in police interrogation rooms) what would you see?

A fascinating subject 8) The space , time continuum . There is a very logical answer .Imagine looking in a mirror at yourself , Travel involves time , so the time it takes for you to see the image of yourself in a mirror is quantifible i.e the image you think you are looking at is already nanaseconds old . Put a mirror behind you and look at the image , its nanosaconds by two . Get a good pair of binoculars and look into the mirror image of the mirror image of the mirror image etc and theoricaly
you should be able to see yourslf when you were a baby ;) Bugs is air saigs meisce , ar tuigeann e seo Proinseas

No sorry I didn't understand completely. Also I really can't remember the last time someone called me Proinsias. It was probably during role call in national school

Anyways about the mirror thing I had this discussion with a few friends tonight and I was satisfied with the conclusion we arrived at. You will see an infinite number of outer edges of the mirror effectively making a single colour. Makes sense :D

It all depends on how far apart the two mirrors are. If they are far enough apart that you can see the frames, then you will see mirror frames from now into eternity. If it is so close that the frames do not show, you will see nothing. DR
