We are ready, waiting for our ride to the bus station to catch a bus to the airport to take us to our unplanned holiday in Bangkok.

Our eldest daughter wanted to take us out for a seafood dinner a couple of weeks ago but the restaurant was closed so we decided to go for a Thai dinner. While having dinner, we were talking about how nice the food was and is very much like those in Thailand. Then I suggested why not we go to Bangkok to try it out as a joke. Then one thing led to another and today we are flying off to Bangkok on a eat and eat and eat holiday.

Byeee ..... be back by Sunday...... :-D

I've never been to Bangkok but wannabe was there once. I might have gone when younger but now I like to keep my feet on solid ground.

Spontaneous holidays often work out to be the best ones. Have a safe journey and thoroughly enjoy yourselves.
See you back here on Monday after you've unpacked and had a good nights sleep. :-D

KK, It reminds me of the times we used to hop in the car and run up to Maine to have lobster dinner. It was a 12 hour trip by car. Then we would love it so much that we stayed over night to have the lobster on the menu for breakfast the next lunch and dinner again. Then we went home.

KK, I think you started something. I think it's time for a lobster run again. Oh yum......Must go look at hubbys schedule and see if he has a few days off in a row. He would love it.

Oh, what a fun sounding trip. I hope you take photos of your food selections too, those would be interesting to see.

I love the unplanned trips. We carry a 'go' box in the truck filled with essentials ready to be used when we are out junking and decide to stay somewhere overnight. Now that our youngest is self-sufficient it is so freeing to know we can do that.
