I was in Big Lots yesterday and just hours before, they had just gotten in a mess of 4" Moth Orchids in full bloom! ($10.00 each)
For some time now I have been salivating at the idea of owning one of these and now I am the proud, impulsively spending owner of two!

While I was impulsively at it, I bought a pink Jasmine, which has indoor growing instructions.

I fully expect it to die and am seriously thinking about returning it while it is still beautiful.

It is in a 4" pot and I paid $4.00 for it.
Should I take it back, or can someone tell me if they've had any success keeping one of these as a houseplant?

Or...I might even be willing to plant it outside, but does anybody know if it would thrive outside in Colorado?

    Thank you. :stew2:

I know I bought my mum a Jasmine 3 years ago in a pot and she had it inside till the blooms died back and the planted it against a trellis in her garden adn the thing has grown and grown and flowered profusely even in the cold winters, I dont know what temps you have but we range from around -4C winter nights to +29-30C in summer, hers is pink tinged to the flowers though it was just sold to me as jasmine.
