Hi, my name is JoAnn and I am new to the site. I have 3 cats, two American Shorthair Silver Tabbies (Tucker and Lacey) and one Burmese cat named Sierra. My husband and I used to show the cats when they were younger, met alot of interesting people doing that. I am a veterinary technician at an emergency and surgical specialty hospital in Port Washington, WI. I have been certified for 16 years and am currently pursuing my specialty in Emergency and Critical Care. If any of you have questions about your pets (cats and dogs- I am not too familiar with large animals and exotics) feel free to send me a message and I'll do my best to help you!!!
Hello JoAnn and a very warm welcome to our forums from West Lothian in Scotland. :-D You must post photographs of your Silver Tabbies and Burmese as we'd love to see them. You certainly lead a very interesting life and your work must be so rewarding.
Welcome to this wonderful site, Joann I am fairly new here myself and have found everyone super friendly and very informative. Yes, please show us pictures of your cats. We would love to see them.
Hi JoAnn, nice to officially meet you. Welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Yes, please we would love to pictures of your furry friends.
I'm with the others, I love photos and especially of furry friends. Your work sounds challenging and interesting, and so does your hobby.
Wow, "show" kitties... I'd like to see their pictures too. My very first cat ever was named Lacey... I hand raised her and her brother Mel after the mom left them under the steps where I worked at the beach in the summer, never did figure out what happened to the mom. Lacey lived to be 19 so I guess I gave her a good enough start. Mel went with one of my roomates and did equally well. Hadn't thought of Lacey for a while -- thanks for the reminder from you! Now I have Austin and Missy. They are good kitties. Very nice to meet you. I do appreciate the work that you do...it isn't always easy work, is it? My Missy has some health issues and I have great respect for her caregivers at the vet. She is "fractious" but they love her anyway. I'll be watching to see Lacey, Tucker and Sierra.
Hi. I'm Joan (one less N than you have!) from Missouri. I'm newish here myself, but can always use more gardening friends.
