My flower garden is sitting there neglected and weedy. My craft projects are being ignored. Laundry and dirty dishes are piled high, but it just doesn't matter.

Everett Eugene was born on Sunday, May 17th at 7:30 p.m. He's the prettiest little spring bloom I've ever seen.

I hope to be able to get out in the garden a little in a week or so when I'm feeling up to it (it was a very rough labor and delivery) and he's napping more regularly. In the meantime, I'll enjoy your pics and stories.

Welcome to the big, wide world Everett Eugene!!! :D

Many congratulations jakrum what a gorgeous little son you have.

Just take things easy as everything can wait, weeds will always be there waiting for you and so will dust, dirty dishes and laundry. Just concentrate on yourself and your new baby and enjoy every moment you spend together. :-D

What a precious little one. Enjoy every minute with him as you will learn, they grow so fast. The garden can wait as well as everything else. Congrats on your new bundle of joy. :p

    Cutie Patootie!!
When my best friend had her baby 17 years ago (can't believe it's been that long! wow!) I made a needlework wall hanging for her that said:
    Cleaning and scrubbing
    can wait till tomorrow
    'cause babies grow up
    we've learned to our sorrow
    so quiet down cobwebs
    and dust go to sleep
    I'm rocking my baby
    and babies don't keep

Rock him, and enjoy him and spoil him!!
