I have no idea how they are getting into the house. :-? They come at night when everything is quiet and Ian is in bed. I'm always alone when I hear the split-splat of them moving over my laminated floors - getting nearer and nearer to where I am sitting. Some are tiny - some much bigger and they are wet and greenish brown with sticky tongues and big eyes. I think they are invading my garden and I just know there are more to come!!! I'm sure I've seen them leap out of the pond and into the concealing plants around its edges. . . . . . . I'm not in the least bit afraid of them however as they are only my tadpoles turning into little froglets!!!!!
Phew you had me frightened there for a moment Eileen. They sounded quite hideous from the description But who could resist a cute little froggie!
Love those frogs. I have to wait until next year as my this year tadpoles are greenfrogs that usually go two years.
aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww We have an invasion of crane flies at the moment - bet the frogs love to eat them!
